This beautiful painting is a classic example of the Gondana style of Madhubani painting with intricate tatoo motifs of deer, butterflies, dolls etc. It originates from the Mithilanchal region of Bihar, India. A sketch is made freehand using a brush. A nib dipped in acrylic colour is used to draw fine lines (textures in a shape).
