Tikuli art form draws inspiration from Madhubani art, and it commonly depicts everyday chores of household women, auspicious occasions such as wedding ceremonies, and scenes from Brindavan
Women artisans from marginal incomes have found their place in society through financial independence. This craft helps about 600-800 artisan families in Digha, Danapur, and Gai Ghat mahallas of Patna town of Bihar to become financially independent and live respectfully in the society.
