Dhokra art also known as Bell Metal craft is one of the oldest crafts known to mankind since 2500 BC and prominently stands out in the relics found at Mohenjo-Daro, Harappa. Dhokra Art takes its name from the Dhokra/ Dokra tribe from Bastar, Chhattisgarh. Traditionally it was used for statues of deities.
