This Cotton Madhubani Mask with classic black & white fish design has been hand painted by Mithila artists from Bihar, India. It covers the nose and the mouth completely. With two layers of soft cotton fabric and sufficient long elastic band it can be worn comfortably.

About Madhubani
Madhubani paintings also known as Mithila paintings is the famous folk art from Mithilanchal Region of Bihar, India. Folklore says that this art has been practiced since the days of Ramayana and walls were adorned with these paintings during Ma Sita’s wedding with Lord Ram. Traditionally Madhubani wall art used to be practiced by women on the external as well as internal walls of the house on auspicious occasions such as weddings and other celebrations. For longevity and avoid shrinkage, hand wash separately in cold water using the soft fabric detergent like Godrej Ezee.
Do not apply brush.
Dark colours may bleed.
Iron from the opposite side to protect the hand painted design.
